Minimax optimization of microwave power dividers
Abstract
A method is proposed for numerically solving problems of the optimal synthesis of power dividers based on stepped and inhomogeneous transmission lines with lumped and distributed decoupling resistances. A number of synthesis problems are solved, and detailed tables of optimal parameters of dividers with increased decoupling between outputs are obtained. Experimental results are also presented, with particular attention given to an optimized power divider with a decoupling of 20 dB and a boundary frequency of 1 GHz.
