Construction of different forms of the theory of the excitation of periodic waveguides
Abstract
It is shown that it is possible to construct a varietey of forms of the theory of the excitation of the periodic waveguides by the isolation of undercomposed electric and magnetic fields. Expressions for the excitation coefficients are obtained, and it is shown that the resonance contribution to these coefficients is determined only by the prescribed exciting current and does not depend on the form of isolated fields.Conditions which must be satisfied by the isolated fields for different forms of the excitation theory are established.
