The Cassiopeia-Perseus region in the radio continuum
Abstract
A detailed study of the Cassiopeia-Perseus region is presented. The large-scale structure of the region in the radio continuum is described and compared with observations in other spectral regions. The results of high-resolution radio continuum surveys of the region are reviewed. The possibility that the galactic background radiation in Cassiopeia-Perseus is produced by supernova remnants is examined, and the spiral structure in the region is addressed.
