Experimental study of wave and oscillatory processes in an active resonance transmission line
Abstract
Experimental results are presented concerning a radio-frequency active resonance transmission line at a critical frequency of 9.4 MHz and a wave impedance of 288 ohms. An analysis is made of processes in the active layer characterized by a close coupling of wave and oscillatory phenomena, a variable field structure, and a variable spectrum. Attention is given to modes of active-layer radiation, mutual and forced synchronization of the oscillators, and the amplification of the external signal. The experimental data are found to agree well with numerical-simulation results.
