Dielectric materials with inhomogeneous structures
Abstract
The electrophysical properties of inhomogeneous dielectric materials and electronic components made of these materials are examined insofar as they relate to the calculation and modeling of electric and temperature fields. Topics discussed include the distribution of electric fields in regular capacitor structures with random defects, electric field distribution and electrophysical parameters of films with random roughness, and the modeling of the electrophysical parameters of porous bulk structures. Attention is also given to conductivity processes and leakage effects in metal-dielectric systems and statistical models of the electrical strength of dielectrics.
