Gyromotors
Abstract
Aspects of the theory and application of gyromotors are considered. The characteristic features of their design are outlined, with attention given to the problem of using the engines in such a way as to form gyro instruments of high precision. The gyromotor is considered as a system, with consideration given to the relationships between the electrical, magnetic, thermal, and mechanical processes that have a direct bearing on the precision, readiness, and durability of gyroinstruments. Electrical analogy principles are used in constructing the mathematical models. The gyromotor is discussed as an electrical transformer, and methods are proposed for improving the stability of its parameters.
