A comparative study of H+ and He+ at sunspot minimum and sunspot maximum.
Abstract
The time-dependent equations of continuity and momentum for O+, H+ and He+ are solved for the section of a mid-latitude flux tube from the lower F2-region to the equator. H+ and He+ behavior is compared for both sunspot minimum and sunspot maximum conditions at equinox concentrating on light ion replenishment following a magnetic storm and light ion fluxes.
