An iterative algorithm for solving the inverse boundary value problem of heat conduction
Abstract
An iteration procedure based on a solution to the Cauchy problem is presented for solving the inverse boundary value problem of heat conduction posed as an extreme-value problem. The reconstruction of the boundary conditions on the external surface of a plane body is discussed with respect to the position of the temperature sensor and the intensity of the thermal process. On the basis of numerical calculations, it is concluded that the algorithm proposed here is stable to perturbations of the input information.
