A solution to the inverse contact problem of heat transfer in a rectangular plate
Abstract
An approximate method is proposed for solving the inverse nonlinear contact problem of heat transfer in a rectangular plate. The approach proposed here is based on the use of locally one-dimensional difference schemes of the method of fractional steps. These schemes can be readily implemented in computer software and in resistor grids. The method is illustrated by an example.
