Ein neues Verfahren der Quantisierten Rückkopplung bei der Regenerierung von Digitalsignalen
Abstract
The currently employed procedures of quantized feedback have a number of drawbacks. The present investigation is concerned with a novel method of quantized feedback which is largely free of these drawbacks. The new method makes it possible to compensate for distortions which are produced in connection with the band-pass filter characteristics of the transmission channels. According to the new approach, the compensation signal is derived directly from the distorted incoming signal. The characteristic eye patterns of this novel procedure show a complete eye opening in the compensation interval. The practical confirmation regarding the considered concepts is demonstrated with the aid of an example involving a redundancy-free quaternary signal transmission.
