Reconstruction of the profiles of atmospheric optical parameters on the basis of data from laser probing
Abstract
The noise immunity and the accuracy are investigated in the reconstruction of profiles of optical parameters from data obtained through probing at a single frequency. A statistical model is proposed for interpreting lidar measurements. The model makes it possible to use a priori information on noise and the solution in constructing optimum noise-immune interpretation algorithms.
