Temperature characteristics of wavelength tuning in separately pumped integrated-etalon-inteference lasers
Abstract
We have characterised the temperature behavior of the electronic wavelength-tunable separately pumped integrated-etalon-interference laser operating at 0.9 microns. The experimental results reveal two interesting features: the tuning bandwidth varies periodically as a function of temperature, and the possibility of single longitudinal mode operation within a wavelength-locking range Delta T as large as 15 deg C.
