Design of recursive filters to simulate clutter for the evaluation of radar MTI processors
Abstract
The filtering of 'white' noise using a recursive filter is shown to provide simulated radar clutter with specified autocorrelation properties over a finite range of time delay. The design of the filter and its implementation are discussed, and some experimental results are described and illustrated.
