Exact solutions of a freeboundary problem for the Stokes system
Abstract
Consideration is given to a freeboundary problem for the Stokes system in the twodimensional formulation. This problem describes the slow flow of a viscous capillary fluid in an open vessel induced by the variability of the surfacetension coefficient. The problem is related to the problem of thermocapillary convection in weightlessness. A method for obtaining exact solutions to the freeboundary problem is developed.
