A review of the theory of flow processes of compressible and incompressible media in nebulizers
Abstract
A theoretical survey of flow processes for compressible and incompressible media relating to nebulizers and of the theory for the calculation of the optimum nozzle shape is presented. The applications and limitations of the Nukiyama and Tanasawa equation with respect to flow science are discussed. Comparison of the theories with the behaviour of nebulizers shows that the theories can be used to calculate nozzle shapes.
