Flow of a dipolar fluid due to suddenly accelerated flat plate
Abstract
The unsteady, laminar and incompressible flow of a dipolar fluid due to suddenly accelerated flat plate is considered. The Laplace transform method is applied to obtain the solution, when the material constants satisfy the relation d = l. Monopolar and dipolar stress fields are also determined.
