University of Wisconsin Fusion-Engineering Program design activities for the Light-Ion-Beam Fusion Target-Development Facility
Abstract
Suitable structural materials for the first wall and support frame are determined. The mechanical design of the first wall and frame is described. The methods developed to analyze the frame's response to the blast overpressure and results in the area of cavity gas dynamics calculations are discussed.
