Hybrid microwave filters using interdigital and hairpin microstrip resonators
Abstract
A design procedure of microwave hybrid filters using interdigital and hairpin microstrip resonators is described. The design is based on experimental results obtained for the coupling between pairs of resonators and is suitable for the synthesis of wide band filters (over 20%). The viability of the procedure described is verified with the performance of a 1.3 GHz hyrid filter, with a 20% bandwidth.
