Recent experiments on the excitation and decay of small molecular ions
Abstract
Molecular photoionization studies carried out by means of synchrotron radiation are discussed. They are exemplified by two experiments: photoelectron spectroscopy dealing with vibrational autoionization in H2, and threshold photoelectron/photon coincidence studies on the unimolecular dissociation of NO(+) between 20.11 and 24.59 eV.
