Structure of the transition layer between a hot plasma and a magnetic field
Abstract
An analytical solution is obtained for the structure of the intermediate layer between a hot cosmic plasma and a magnetic field, taking into account charge separation and polarization of the layer. Conditions under which a negatively charged transition layer is formed between the magnetic field and a hot anisotropic rarefied plasma are established.
