Certain characteristics of a prismatic ring resonator
Abstract
The beam cross section, beam divergence, and the spectral width of radiation have been determined, in the paraxial beam approximation, for a dispersion ring resonator implemented with Pellin-Broca prisms. The passive resonator width is estimated for prisms made of CaF2, LiF, Al2O3, quartz, and TF-7 glass. The results obtained are verified experimentally.
