Design of an additive scrambler for parallel connection with numerical multiplexers at 565 Mb/sec
Abstract
The implementation of an additive, or reset, scrambler is described. The functional equivalence of such a circuit to a series scrambler used for statistics conversion in high capacity radio links or coaxial cable data transmission numerical multiplexing is demonstrated. The schemes for parallel or series connection of additive scramblers to numerical multiplexers are compared. The basis of the synthesis methods are developed.
