Development of plant monitoring with on-line techniques
Abstract
The real time definition of a plant state by on-line monitoring of mechanical stress, leak detection and component control is discussed. Continuous on-line monitoring, using strain measurement, is reviewed. The use of capacitive strain gages for high temperature applications is examined. Mechanical and structural control, vibration monitoring and leak detection by acoustic emission techniques are described. Data acquisition and data processing systems for acoustic emission monitoring techniques are discussed.
