Dye-laser development for plasma magnetic-field diagnostic
Abstract
A flash-lamp-pumped dye laser has been constructed and operated in DCM dye, yielding outouts greater than 400 W for 100 microns in broadband operation. Attempts to tune this laser by injection locking to a narrow-band cw laser poor efficiency and relatively short locked operation.
