The excitation of a perfectly conducting multihedral body
Abstract
The excitation of a perfectly conducting axisymmetric multihedral body is investigated using the method of integral equations. Objects with dimensions of the order of the wavelength in free space are numerically analyzed using the discrete Fourier transformation. Results are presented for a sample problem of the excitation of a perfectly conducting cube by an electric dipole, which confirm the accuracy of the proposed algorithm for these types of problems.
