A magnetically controlled electrovacuum converter of displacement into pulsed signals
Abstract
The paper examines the feasibility of employing magnetically controlled electrovacuum devices as converters of displacement parameters into pulsed signals. A two-anode electrovacuum device controlled by a permanent magnet in translational motion can be such a converter. Theoretical conclusions are confirmed by experimental data, and recommendations on the practical application of such converters in digital devices are presented. It is also noted that such converters can be used in position and velocity sensors.
