Depth from edge and intensity based stereo
Abstract
A system for obtaining depth maps from a stereo pair of images is described. Its analysis is based on techniques for subsequent intensity correspondence. The process functions on a line-by-line basis, and produces a full depth map for the viewed scene. The analysis of two example scenes is presented.
