Chemical lasers
Abstract
The basic operating principles of chemical lasers and models of the theoretical description of these lasers are presented. The characteristics of the construction of pulsed and CW chemical lasers are analyzed. The current applications and possible future developments of chemical lasers are discussed. Information from several allied fields are examined for use in studies of chemical lasers, including chemical kinetics, gas dynamics, the technology of electron beams, electrical discharges, and sources of UV radiation.
