Effect of Oxygen on Compact CW-HCN Laser
Abstract
Experimental studies showing the effect of oxygen on the output power of a compact CW-HCN laser are described. Oxygen is added to the active gas medium (CH4+N2), and when the oxygen is introduced under optimum conditions, an output power of about 48 mW is obtained at 337 μm.
