Radiation from circular symmetric sources in warm plasma column
Abstract
The radiation pattern of circular symmetric sources (i.e. open ended coaxial line excited in the TEM mode and cylindrical waveguide excited in the TM01 mode) in the warm plasma column is studied. It is found that radiation pattern of circular symmetric sources is drastically modified by finite plasma compressibility and the nature of boundary conditions.
