Construction of regional semiempirical models of the optical characteristics of the atmosphere
Abstract
An approach to modeling variations of optical thickness in atmospheric windows is described. The proposed model for the optical state of the atmospheric surface layer is based on the generalization of data from optical experiments carried out in various weather conditions. The model takes into account real fluctuations of optical density associated with the variability of synoptic processes. An expression for determining the optical thickness in the atmospheric windows associated with aerosol attenuation and continuum absorption by water vapor is presented.
