The linking of two apparitions of Comet Schwassmann-Wachmann 3 /1930 VI/ and the evolution of its orbit over 200 years /1800-2000/
Abstract
Two apparitions of the comet, discovered in 1930 and observed again in 1979, were linked; 49 observations made in 1930 and 5 made in 1979 were used. Starting from new elements for 1930 Sept. 13.0 ET the equations of the motion of the comet were integrated by Cowell's method including the perturbations caused by the planets from Mercury to Neptune (1800-2000).
