Time optimal control of the mirror track radar antenna
Abstract
The paper examines the theoretical development of the time-optimal control switching surfaces for a third-order type-one mirror track radar antenna system. Three-dimensional computer-generated graphs of the switching surface are presented for various real eigenvalues. The variables in this surface are the transformed errors which have been converted to state space variables. While the analytic expression for this switching surface is somewhat complex, the three-dimensional plots show the relatively simple geometry of the surface.
