Scattering by objects in translational motion
Abstract
The relativistically correct theory of scattering by a three-dimensional object is developed. The spectrum of the scattered field is analyzed, including the case when the scatterer is an isotropic spherical particle. Also analyzed are the spectrum of the scattered field in the case of a limited receiver turn-on time and the scattering of a plane wave with Gaussian time dependence.
