Octave-band double-balanced integrated finline mixers at mm-wavelengths
Abstract
Several new circuits are reported, which make the double-balanced mixer scheme feasible at mm-wavelengths. Finline is employed, using an extremely simple slot-pattern. An operating frequency range of 10 to 40 GHz was obtained. Conversion loss for the full bandwidth is 7 + or - 0.5 dB with a SSB noise figure of 7 - 8 dB. LO to FR isolation is better than 23 dB.
