A study of thermal convection and heat transfer
Abstract
Papers presented here summarize the results of theoretical and experimental studies on several aspects of thermal convection. The subjects discussed include the equilibrium stability of a uniformly heated fluid, nonlinear aspects of supercritical regimes and stability of secondary motions, developed convection, and convection of a non-Newtonian fluid. Particular attention is given to the development of numerical and experimental methods for investigating convective flows.
