Difference method for fluid dynamics-numerical solution of primitive equations
Abstract
The difference method for fluid dynamics is generalized to obtain numerical solutions of the primitive equations. The conservative difference scheme and the corrective up-wind scheme with small parameters are given, and the index of generalized stability of periodic problems is estimated. The effect of boundary errors is analyzed and multistep schemes are constructed. The solution of the difference scheme for steady flow is derived.
