Coupled convective and conductive heat transfer by up-wind finite element method
Abstract
Some of the concepts relating to finite element formulation of the Navier-Stoke's equations using mixed formulation and Penality formulation are discussed. The two different approaches for solution of nonlinear differential equations for two different types of formulation are discussed. The two different approaches for solution of nonlinear differential equations for two different types of formulation are described. Incremental Newton Raphson method can also be applied to mixed formulations.
