Digital phasemeter with a Markov sequence of cyclic samples
Abstract
An analysis is presented of a digital phasemeter whose operation is based on an iterative step averaging procedure. It is shown that this averaging procedure can eliminate 'crude' errors in the estimation of the phase difference between received and reference oscillations by the use of a comparatively simple measurement circuit.
