Electrodynamic characteristics of a corrugated waveguide
Abstract
An operator method is used to study the electrodynamic characteristics of a planar waveguide, periodically loaded by inhomogeneities of various heights and lengths. An analysis is presented of scattering fields and equivalent-circuit parameters; transparence zones of the waveguide are identified; and the effect of the geometrical parameters of inhomogeneities on the dispersion dependence of the propagation constant is investigated.
