Reflection of surface magnetostatic waves from a periodically rough section of a ferrite surface
Abstract
A theoretical study is presented of the reflection of surface magnetostatic waves from a periodically rough section of the surface of a ferrite plate. A dispersion equation for coupled modes is obtained, and wave reflection and transmission coefficients for the finite periodic structure are determined. The characteristics of a Fabry-Perot resonator based on this effect are examined.
