Simultaneous transformation of the equations of electrodynamics and motion
Abstract
The transformation of the equations of motion of a charged particle using equations of electrodynamics is employed to obtain a system of equations describing the motion of a charged medium during its interaction with an electromagnetic field; the analysis has reference to phenomena in microwave tubes. It is shown that the motion of the charged medium is completely determined by the spacecharge density, and the velocity and strength of the magnetic field. The electric field strength can be excluded in the analysis.
