Measurement of the natural fluctuations of laser emission frequency at a wavelength of 3.39 microns
Abstract
Measurements of the difference frequency fluctuations of a helium-neon ring laser at a wavelength of 3.39 microns show that these fluctuations are natural. The dependence of the spectral density of the natural fluctuations on radiation power was determined. The experimental results are compared with theoretical calculations and direct measurements of frequency dispersion.
