Full view real-time recording and retention of acoustical holograms
Abstract
Theoretical and experimental results of a thermoplastic acoustic holographic recording device are presented. The theoretical analysis includes the existence of an in-line reference beam and its influence on the real-time coherent optical image reconstruction. The experimental procedure includes the description of a new fabrication technique in making the thermoplastic devices. Experimental results have demonstrated the capability of the device for real-time, in-situ recording and storage of acoustical holograms.
