Spacecraft laser information systems
Abstract
The theory and design of spacecraft laser data processing and measuring systems are reviewed. Topics discussed include statistical distributions of optical fields, noise immunity of optical communications systems with different types of modulation, optimal measurement of signal parameters, holographic processing of digital data, control of laser information systems, and search strategies and tracking in spacecraft laser information systems.
