Hydrodynamic Models of Supernova Explosions
Abstract
The review focuses on hydrodynamic models of supernovae with radiative transfer which have been developed to account for the recently observed supernova light curves. Topics discussed include: supernova progenitors, the energies of supernovae, models for Type I and Type II supernovae with instantaneous energy input, models with late energy input, peculiar supernovae, and implications of the supernova models.
