Neutrino mass, abundance of right-handed neutrinos and closed universe
Abstract
Starting from the experimentally determined mass of electron neutrino Mve = 34 ± 4 eV, we point out that neutrinos will account for 99% of the total mass, leading to a closed universe. We also point out from a detailed discussion that the neutrions in the universe have to be mainly of the left-handed type, in order to agree with observations over a wide range. We show that the upper limit of the sum of neutrino masses given by cosmology will be 200 eV rather than the usual 40 eV.
