Models of a Hot Flare Region Based on X-ray Photometric Data of the Interkosmos 11 Satellite
Abstract
Soft X-ray flare data are used to determine some physical conditions in the flare region. A model is suggested with a Gaussian dependence of the temperature and electron density on coordinates and compared with the constant temperature model. In order to justify the Gaussian approximation, a simple model for studying flare cooling is created and the obtained results are shown.
