Calibration accuracy of photoelectric tiltmeters
Abstract
The paper deals with advanced methods of calibrating tiltmeters. Particular attention is given to a newly developed rocking platform with a knife-edge-supported nondeformable lever whose end can be displaced by means of a fine adjustment screw. It is shown that the absolute error of tiltmeter calibration by the electrodynamic method does not exceed 0.3 percent.
