A FORTRAN program for calculating liquidphase and gasphase thermal diffusion column coefficients
Abstract
A computer program was developed for calculating thermal diffusion column coefficients from theory. The program, which is written in FORTRAN 4, can be used for both liquid phase and gas phase thermal diffusion columns. Column coefficients for the gas phase can be based on gas properties calculated from kinetic theory using tables of omega integrals or on tables of compiled physical properties as functions of temperature. Column coefficients for the liquid phase can be based on compiled physical property tables. Program listings, test data, sample output, and users manual are supplied as appendices.
